This guest post was written by Mike I. — A parent who recently had his son’s birthday party at Helium Trampoline & Indoor Adventure Park recently.
For the last couple of years, Helium has made my son’s birthday party one to remember. They have what it takes to keep kids entertained for hours (including literally letting them bounce off the walls) and this year was no exception. The kids had a blast from start to finish!
Trampolines – As a trampoline park, Helium is covered in bouncing surfaces. And what kid doesn’t love jumping and tumbling on trampolines? But Helium has expanded to an adventure park, so their trampolines are just the beginning.
Ninja Warrior Course – This obstacle course is just like the one on TV but sized down so every kid can fight the competition and their own limits to become Helium’s next Ninja Warrior. Get ready to take home the glory!
Warped Walls – Can your kid climb the warped panels to reach the top of the wall? My son loved taking on the challenge of climbing this 3D Tetris board.
Giant Airbags – Freefall from their tower onto the an airbag below in the Walk the Plank Jump Tower — but be on the lookout for shark attacks! For the more competitive kids at the party, there was the Gladiator Joust Beam, where two contestants test their skills and try to push their opponents off the beam onto the airbag below.
Dodgeball – Helium dials this classic game up a notch — It’s dodgeball on trampolines.
Aerial Rope Course – My little monkey loved scrambling over obstacles while suspended 25 feet off the ground.
Human Hamster Balls – What kid hasn’t wondered what it’d be like to bounce around in their own giant hamster ball? Add in the bumper cars vibe of rolling into other “Human Hamsters” and you have a game the kids won’t stop talking about.
Wipe Out – When kids get tired of just bouncing around, Wipe Out levels up the trampoline experience. The spinning wipe out arms try to knock kids off their feet. It takes careful timing to avoid the soft spinning arms — but look out! They change directions.
Mt. Helium Clip and Climb – Kids who dream of climbing Everest (or the back of the couch without getting in trouble) can reach for the sky (and the roof) on Helium’s climbing wall.
Another winning birthday party is on the books, and the only thing my son feels like he can’t do after all that adventure is wait another year before visiting Helium again!
